Price Increase Information

Our current pricing has been in place since the 2018/2019 winter season (about 2 years ago).  We will be updating our site with 2021 package pricing by Thanksgiving of 2020.  The updated pricing will apply to packages that ship after January 1, 2021.  Historically, construction costs have increased around 3% per year, but there has been a significant jump in material pricing over the past few months.  We are hopeful that this is a temporary spike, and that pricing will settle back down in the coming months. The spike in pricing is coming from the combination of high demand for materials and shortages in production.  During the current pandemic, there has been a surge in home renovation projects, additions, and new construction.  At the same time, some building material suppliers have had their production slowed down from difficulty in sourcing materials, and from production reductions required to maintain safe working environments.  Finally, there is a shortage of builders and skilled labor in some areas, which has also lead to increased pricing.
While we cannot predict future pricing, we are hopeful that material prices will decrease as supplies start to catch up again with demand.  Our pricing will continue to be updated (both increases and decreases) more often than normal during these unique times.  With that being said, you do have at least six months of price protection if you follow our deposit schedule.
