Our interior and exterior building materials produce an environmentally sound product for healthy, comfortable living.  Our use of polystyrene insulation (in combination with fiberglass batting) was carefully selected because of its low outgassing properties.

The cost of a Habitat Post & Beam homes is similar to a conventionally framed home when using materials of the same quality.  We use the highest quality materials and can maintain a reasonable cost due to our wholesale-direct purchasing power.  We buy our timbers and other materials in railcar quantities saving you money.  Our pre-built component building package assembles quickly and easily by your contractor, saving you and your contractor additional time and money.

Engineered and pre-built at our mill, the component building package assures consistent, high quality craftsmanship and materials.  We use the highest grade Douglas fir timbers and select suppliers for components (such as windows and doors) based on their quality.  For over a quarter-century we have selected building materials known for their low maintenance and longevity, including fine cedar siding and decking, kiln-dried framing materials and premium windows, doors, and roofing.
